Adventure Recovery Bridge Course in CT
Alice Henshaw of AVH Global is pleased to be teaching another Wilderness Medical Associates course for Adventure Recovery in October. If you’ve been considering upgrading your WAFA certification to Wilderness First Responder, this particular course offers a unique opportunity to take the course with an emphasis on addiction and mental health awareness. This course utilizes appropriate scenarios to directly reflect the populations AR Guides and AR Coaches work with on a daily basis. The Wilderness First Responder course teaches how to manage medical emergencies when hospitals and rescue services may not be available or an extensive time period.
This course is being held at the beautiful Adventure Recovery basecamp on the Housatonic River Falls Village, Connecticut October 18th through the 21st.
